Quarter Three

In Spanish, this quarter, we did a lot of actividades or activities. One of the biggest activities that we did was the Dramatizaciones which is where we were put in groups and we did either letter a or b in the textbook. We made a little drama, following the steps in the textbook. My group was Morris, and Miwa and we did letter B which is where we introduced one of the group members to the other. We had to ask what that new friend liked to do during the weekend and different seasons. We presented it twice. First it was in front of the class and then Mrs.Barnhouse and Mr.Cooke.

The purpose of this activity was to see if we understood what we had learned so far so that we could write Spanish. It was also to see if we knew how to pronounce and speak Espanol. This activity also helped us because we now know more about how to speak in a group conversation. This activity was also for Sra.Richani to see if we understood how to use verb tenses properly in sentences and so that she could help us pronounce words and to see if other people can understand us because some groups used the wrong verbs

I learned how to say seasons in Espanol because we had learned it before we began this exercise. Like winter is invierno and rain is llueve. I also learned how to ask more questions in Spanish like when you ask what classes a person takes. This project also helped me incorporate expression into the drama like !Ay Caramba! I also learned more about how to pronounce some words that Ididn't know how to pronounce before like Dramatizaciones.

I would have changed a few things like I should have used a dictionary to fix a few ppoints and I should have checked it again because we had some gramatical errors like we used second person instead of first. I should have also gone over it with my group because they pronounced some words wrong. Something else that I should have fixed was that I should have rehearsed a few times with my group so that it would look better because we kept looking at our paper so it slowed down the pace.

This doesn't relate to my goal because my goals are to improve my reading comprehension and to say at least one thing in every class.
