Quarter One

The activity that I am going to tell you about is the first mid-summative exam we took.It was kind of a surprise because the class and I weren't use to just learning a whole lesson and then having an exam but I still did alright. We had so far learned about elevation and how it affects our point of view. The question that I got wrong was because I didn't add enough detail. Mr.Prairie also wanted us to find our percentage but I didn't have enough time because I got it last but since I had attempted, I was given a bonus. Over-all, this quiz was pretty easy because I was able to look over the new book because we had homework last night.

The purpose of this activity was for us to get a feeling of how science worked because it was just the beginning of the year. I think that we had Mr.Prairie had decided that most of of the tests would be like this so we could remember how the questions would be for later. Also, this was to help us review over what we had just learned so that we could remember it for the bigger tests. Mr.Prairie tols us how most of the questions for bigger tests would come from past quizzes and te textbook that we had gotten.

I learned about point of view. I always knew about point of view and how it changes because of elevation but I never knew the science and how to explain it. Something else I learned is how there are little tests after every unit because I wasn't use to it and when I did have tests, they weren't this big. I pretty much learned what Mr.PRairie expects from our tests because I never knew and now I do. HE wants us to put as much effort as we can.

I could have changed my answers because I should have put more detail into my answers so that I could have gotten a better grade. I should have also written a little neater because some ofg my answrs, I couldn't read them after so that I couldn't study for the bigger test that we had.

This doesn't relate to my goals because my goals are to improve my reading comprehension skills and say at least one thing in every class. This kind of relates because for a couple of these questions were where we had to read a map and then answer somethings about it.
