Quarter Two

The activity was to do a project with the other two-three people in your group. Your group would have to go to the room Mrs.Lennon assigned you and your group and measure the three to four items Mrs.Lennon also chose for you. Every group had a different room to measure. The project had to include a first draft, calculations, and a final draft. My group was Abraham, and Brock. We got the band room and we had to measure the entrance door, Mrs.Butler's office door, and the platform. It was out of fifty and I got forty five.

The purpose was for Mrs.Lennon to see if you understood formulas for area and perimeter. Also, since we were in a group, Mrs.Lennon was seeing if we could cooperate in a group so that could help you later in life. The project would help us a lot if we were going to be an architect tin the future.

I learned more about area and perimeter. I also learned more about scale because we had to make a diagram of the room scaled down. But I also learned how a lot of teamwork was needed to complete this project.

I would have changed the calculations so that they would be right. For our final draft, we could have added more color and make sure the pen doesn't smudge. But we should have also been neater in the writing of the title in the final draft.
