Quarter Three

The activity was to write a typing test on www.typingtest.com. We would write a three-minute test with any piece of writing that they had and I chose the one called "The Wizard of Oz". You didnt' have to finish your whole test, you would get your WPM even if you didnt' finish the test. After you finished, you woudl have to save the results and make it into a JPEG document. I got 27 WPM and 97%.

The purpose of the activity was to learn about your speed and if you could be accurate when you type fast. It was also for you to see if you could improve your speed for when you are typing.

I learned what my speed is and how accurate I am. I also know that I could improve my time because the last time I did a test, I found out that my speed was lower than now.

I could have changed how much I practiced typing so then my time would be better. I also could have taken more time and have a better accuracy even though my speed would go down.

This ties in with my goal because my goal was to get grades above a B+ and with this I did. This was kind of part of my grade so it goes in with my goal a lot.
