Quarter Two

The activity was to choose a climate region for the Climate region project, and then follow the sheet Mrs.Lennnon handed out on the first day of the project. There were mini-deadlines that we had to hand in specific items. We wrote about five topics. We had to make a graph of average temperatures for a city in the climate region you chose for the last fifty years in increments of five years. We also needed a title page and a bibliography. It was out of fifty and I got forty-eight which is an A. My climate reigion was the Tundra and the city I chose was Inuvik, Canada.

The purpose of the activity was for us to learn about different climate regions. Mrs.Lennon was grading us on if we found information on the topic we chose and if we had notes from class to use. The project also helped us by showing how we have to cite our sources correctly.

I learned about the tundra region and the best way to organize and essay. I found out where to find weather data and organize it into a graph. And I also learned more about SIRS because we had to use it to find information.

I could have changed the city I chose for weather data so that it would be easier. If I made my sources more specific, I wouldn't have lost marks. But at the very beginning , I could have changed my clmate region!
